Recreational Coach

The Recreational Coach is a noncertified, entry-level category designed for people who may already be teaching tennis – as high school coaches, at recreational facilities or in other part-time situations – but are not immediate candidates for careers as full-time teaching professionals. Recreational Coaches successfully complete a workshop and are qualified to assist full-time staff during camps, group lessons and other grassroots programming.

Our goals for each student are to help them realize and maximize their physical and mental capabilities.  When mastering the proper techniques of tennis our students also learn discipline and goal setting skills that create an important foundation on and off the court.  Most importantly our students have as much fun as possible and enjoy the challenge.
